Established in 2018, Magnificat Legal Consulting Limited (MLCL) began as a vision shared by two seasoned professionals, Audra and Adrian. Recognising a need for tailored, comprehensive legal and compliance solutions across diverse industry sectors, they set out to create a consultancy that melds deep industry knowledge with a steadfast commitment to client success.
Audra Wamsteker
Solicitor
With an extensive background in her field and a wealth of experience in capital markets and derivatives, Audra brings a unique depth of insight to MLCL. Prior to founding the company, Audra worked as in-house lawyer at BNP Paribas, Société Générale, HSBC and Morgan Stanley and in private practice at Freshfields, Sidley Austin, MacFarlanes and latterly at EY Legal, where she trained and led teams in high-volume legal documentation and repapering solutions.
Audra holds an LL.B. (Hons), was admitted to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1997, and qualified as solicitor in 2000.
Adrian Wamsteker
Investment banker
Adrian’s expertise in project finance and M&A and a passion for technology and engineering set the foundation for MLCL’s innovative approach to commercial and due diligence support. Before co-founding MLCL, Adrian worked in M&A advisory (UBS, PwC), structured debt (Natixis, ABN Amro), infrastructure equity (IFM Investors, John Laing) and corporates (Enron, E.On). He has a wealth of experience in transaction due diligence, investment and credit analysis, contract negotiation and structuring.
Adrian holds a BBA and MBA from EU Business School in Switzerland. He is fluent in Dutch, French and German.
